Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana stands for a valuable initiative by the Madhya Pradesh government and aims to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Many more students are benefiting from higher education through the scholarship program.

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must score at least 70% marks in the State Board exam, and at least 85% in the CBSE or ICSE Board. After passing the 12th class students are eligible to apply. And their family income also be less than 6 lakhs rupees.

MMVY Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

• Residency: The applicants should be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh state.

• Category: SC, ST, OBC & General students can apply.

• Academic Backgrounds: The interested applicant must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks from a State board or of 85% marks from a CBSE/ICSE board.

• If the candidate has been admitted to any postgraduate courses in an aided, government, polytechnic, or diploma college based on their score of 12th, also eligible to apply for the scholarship.

• JEE Mains Rank: Applicants who have secured a rank between 1,50,000 in JEE Main can apply for the scholarship.

Or,

• NEET Merit: Medical candidates who have secured admission to public or private universities based on merit in the NEET examination are eligible.

Or,

• CLAT Merit: Applicants who have secured admission to National Law University or Delhi University based on their merit in the CLAT examination are eligible.

• Admission: The interested applicant must have secured admission to an undergraduate course.

• Family Income: The student’s family’s annual income should be below 6 lakh rupees.

Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana Rewarded Amount

The candidate, who will enroll in a Course can be in government, private, or dental colleges. Students can receive financial assistance through Scholarships, lets check stream-wise –

Medical Student: The students enrolling in a medical degree program at a government/private medical/dental college will also receive the full tuition fee. 

Engineering students – The students enrolling in an engineering program at a government/non-government college will receive full fees for the course.

However, the students enrolling in a private college will receive INR 1.5 Lakh or the actual course fee (whichever is less) declared by the university or the institute. 

Law Students- The students enrolling in a law degree program at National Law Universities in India will also receive full course fees under this scheme. 

Undergraduate course – The government covers expenses for Undergraduate courses like B.Sc, BA, Nursing, and B.Com courses in State government colleges.

MMVY Scholarship 2024 – Important Documents

Before applying applicants need to arrange important documents, which are –

• Passport Size Photo
• The Aadhaar Card of the applicants
• Class 10th Marksheet
• Class 12th-grade Marksheet
• Domicile proof of Madhya Pradesh
• Proof of Admission     
• Annual Income Certificate
• Caste certificate

MMVY Scholarship 2024 – Apply Online

Interested applicants may follow those steps to apply easily for the MMVY Scholarship.

• First, visit the official website of the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana.

• The scholarship homepage will appear on your screen. Now click on “Application for MMVY Only” from the navigation menu. On your screen, a drop-down menu will show select Registered for Academic year 2023-24(Freshers/ Renewal). 

• Now It would help you choose the “Register on Portal (New Student)” option. 

Verification

• Now the applicant has to enter “Samagra ID” and a captcha.
• After that, the application form will be open.

Registration

• Fill up the registration form with the applicant’s Name, Gender, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, category, address, etc.

• After filling details Click on “Validation” and confirm your details.

• Now click on “Save Registration Details”

• You can see your User ID and Password on your screen and take a print-out of it.

mMVY scholarship login

• Now Click on “Go to Scholarship Portal and Login”
• To complete your profile upload your “Photo“
• Update your Addhar number
• Then Upload the 10th mark sheet with the asked details.
• Upload the 12th class mark sheet with the required details.
• Enter and Upload JEE Mains, CLAT, and NEET details
• Click on “Submit Application Form” and fill it with accurate details.
• After filling details Click on “Register/ Update Application.
• After that, you will see “Applicant details have been Saved successfully”
• Then return to “My Dashboard” and Lock it. Your application is successfully registered.
