The Oasis Scholarship is a financial aid program launched by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. This scholarship is mainly for researved category students like SC/ST/OBC. It aims to provide monetary assistance to economically weaker students to help them pursue education at different levels, from pre-matric (school) to post-matric (11th/12th/college/university).
This schoarship is designed to help all types of students weather they are day scholar or hoste reident. Government carry both the educational charges as well as hostel fee. So it is a good oppotunity to all students of West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria for OASIS Schoarship 2025
To apply for the Oasis Scholarship 2025, students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Pre-Matric Scholarship – 9th and 10th Class
- Candidates must be the permanent resident of West bengal.
- Only SC/ST/OBC students are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be study in recognized school/college/university.
- Annual family income should be less than 2 Lakhs per annuam.
Post-Matric Scholarship – 11th, 12th, UG, PG, Diploma, PhD
- All candidates should be the permanent resident of West Benga state.
- All candidate should belong to the category SC/ST/OBC.
- Must be studying in a recognized school, college, or university.
- Must have required income certificates issued by a competent authority.
- Annual family income:
- Less than 2.5 lakhs for SC/ST.
- Less than 1 Lakhs for OBC
OASIS Scholarship amount
The Oasis Scholarship offers financial assistance to students from SC, ST, and OBC categories in West Bengal. Here’s a brief overview of the benefits:
- Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students:
- Day Scholars: INR 150 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of INR 750 per annum.
- Hostellers: INR 750 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of INR 1,000 per annum.
- Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students:
- Day Scholars: INR 150 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of INR 750 per annum.
- Hostellers: INR 750 per month for 10 months + Adhoc grant of INR 1,000 per annum.
- Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students:
- Day Scholars: Maintenance allowance of up to INR 550 per month.
- Hostellers: Maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200 per month.

- Day Scholars: Maintenance allowance of up to INR 350 per month.
- Hostellers: Maintenance allowance of up to INR 750 per month.
Oasis Scholarship Student Registration Process step-by-step
To apply for a new OASIS scholarship, candidates have to first register themselves into the the OASIS official portal.
- Click on the Student’s registration option.
- A new page will open where you have to select Your preffered district name and click on submit button.
- A new page will open where you have to enter the details of Caste certificate and issuing dates then click on submit button.
- After that you will be redirected to your application form filling page.
- Fill all the details in the form carefully like:
- Personal details
- Eduicational details
- Residential details
- Parents details
- Bank details
- Then click on submit button.
- After successful registration you will get an Unique application ID that you need to login into yur account.
Oasis scholarship login 2025
- Go to the official website of OASIS scholarship portal and click on the Registrated Students login section.
- Login using your Unique application ID and password.
- Go to your application dashboard of Oasis Scholarship 2025.
- Fill out the rest part of the application and add your bank account information.
- After that click on the “Verify and Lock” Option.
- Once you verify and lock your application you cant change your details further.
- After that Download and print your application form.
- You must submit a printed copy of the duly filled application form along with all required supporting documents to the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) for block areas or the PO cum DWO for municipal corporations.
