SSLC Prize Money scholarship 2024-25

The Department of Social Welfare of Karnataka has initiated the SSLC prize money scholarship scheme 2024-25. All the SC/ST category students who completed their 10th or SSLC and pursuing the professional diploma, graduate or post-graduation course are eligible to apply under this scheme.

Through this scheme, the eligible student will get a financial grant of 7,000/- to up to 15,000/- for their education.

SSLC prize money scholarship eligibility

Students must have satisfy the following Eligibility criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

• Students must be the permanent resident of Karnataka state.
• Students must have completed their 10th from any recognized board of Karnataka state with a minimum of 60% marks.
• They must have been admitted to any professional diploma or degree courses.
• Only students in the ST/SC category are eligible.
• 30% of scholarships are reserved for female SC/ST students.

Prize money scholarship apply online

To apply for the prize money scholarship students have to visit the official website. You have to follow the following given steps:

• First, visit the official website of the Department of Social Welfare of Karnataka state.
• Click on the “SSLC Prize Money” link on the right-hand side.
• A new page will open where you have to select the “SSLC”, after that click on Validate Aadhar.

• After validating the Aadhar details the Prize money scholarship application form will open in front of you.
• Fill the application form with the valid details like
  • Personal details
  • Residential details
  • Bank details
  • Current course details etc
• Then upload the necessary documents required, then click on Next button.
• After that preview your whole application form carefully if there is no mistake.
• If all the data are correctly filled, then click on SUBMIT button.

NOTE: You must submit the hard copies of the application form to the respective district office otherwise your application will be rejected.
