West Bengal Vidyashan Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship program run by Sarojini Damodaran Foundation. This foundation was started by SD Shibula & Kumari Shibulal in 1999.
West Bengal Vidyashan Scholarship was initiated to help poor but meritorious students facing challenges to pursue education. Students who completed their 10th (Madhyamik) examination with a minimum of 80% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates will be selected for this scholarship through a rigorous test and interview process.
Candidates do not need to pay any fees for the application, and can directly fill the form in the official website.

West Bengal VidyaDhan Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are applying for the Vidyadhan scholarship for West Bengal state must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must be permanent residents of West Bengal.
- They must complete the 10th grade/Madhyamik/Secondary exam in the year 2024 from West Bengal.
- Candidates must score a minimum 80% marks or 8 CGPA in their 10th exam.
- The annual family income should be less than 2 lakhs/year.

Students who will be selected for this scholarship will receive financial aid of INR 10,000/- Per year.
Selection process
Students will be selected through a thorough and rigorous process.
- First candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance and the data they had filled.
- After the shortlisting candidates will be called for a screening test (*date is mentioned above)
- After the screening test, they will be called for an interview.
- The final merit list will be released based on performance and academic excellence.

- First, you have to visit the official website of the Vidyadhan Scholarship.
- Scroll down below and click on the “Apply Now” button.
- A new page will open where you have to first register yourself using your Name, email ID, and password.
- After registering, an activation link will be sent to your email ID. Click on the link to activate your account.
application filling step
- Login using your email ID and password.
- In the main menu click on “Help” to read the instructions for filling form or how to track the application, etc.
- After that click on the “New Application” to create a new application.
- The application form will open enter your details and upload the necessary documents.
- Then submit the application properly.
