Eligibility Criteria for aspire scholarship of pG students

Every students must satisfy the following eligibility criteria before applying for this scholarship:

• Only students pursuing P.G., M.Phil., or Ph.D. programs in Kerala University or affiliated colleges are eligible to apply.
• The project must be undertaken with the guidance and supervision of a scholar/guide from the host institution, who has agreed to mentor the candidate. Applications should include:
  • Approval Letter and Facility Certificate from the host institution.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the candidate’s parent Department/College.
  • Three copies of the project proposal, limited to 1-1½ pages.
• The submitted research plan must not reveal the candidate’s identity. Proposals should first be reviewed by the Department Council and recommended by the Head of Department or Principal. The project duration should be specified in the proposal.
• The parent institution must ensure the student fulfills the minimum attendance requirement, and work completed at the host institution can be considered part of the coursework. Scholarships are awarded only once during a program.
• Projects hosted by affiliated colleges or involving inter-departmental collaboration are not encouraged. Proposals linked to IDE or private institutions will be disqualified, though deemed universities are permissible as host institutions.

Aspire scholarship amounts

The selected students will get a scholarship of INR 8,000/- per month (in the state) and INR 10,000/- per month for those pursuing internships outside of the state.

• First, visit the official website of the DCE portal of the Kerala state government.
• Then click on the Aspire Scholarship Notification from the list.
• The login page will open.

• If you are a new student and have not applied before then first Register yourself.
• After registration login yourself using your ‘application ID’, Password, and DOB.
• Then come to the dashboard and select ‘Apply for Aspire Scholarship’.
• The application form will open in your desktop.
• Fill out the application form with valid details like:
  • Personal Details
  • Academic details
  • Course details
  • Bank account details
• Then upload the necessary documents required during the application.
• If all details are correctly filled then finally submit the application.
