SIRISH Scholarship 2024

The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare has undertaken a commendable initiative for the students of the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities in Assam. The Tea Tribes Welfare and Adivasi Department is implementing various schemes and scholarship opportunities for students from the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities.

These initiatives aim to encourage higher studies and the acquisition of new skills, support entrepreneurship, provide financial assistance for studies and self-employment, and aid women’s self-help groups (SHGs) that promote mutual support.

SIRISH Scholarship introduces use with various schemes and scholarship opportunities from where one eligible applicant can get reward money of 3000/- up to 25000/-

SIRISH Scholarship 2024

The Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare in Assam is dedicated to supporting the educational goals of socially and economically disadvantaged students throughout the state. To further this mission, the Government of Assam has introduced a range of scholarships and schemes to uplift students from these communities.

Each year, the SIRISH Scholarship selects a group of exceptional students who show academic excellence and a commitment to giving back. The scholarship offers financial support for tuition, books, and other educational expenses, enabling recipients to concentrate on their studies without financial worries.

SIRISH Scholarship Eligibility

Resident – If you want to apply make sure that you must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.

Income Limit – A declaration of the annual family income, confirming it does not exceed Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum, Proof must be submitted by the parent or guardian in the specified format.

Caste certificate – Candidates must have a TGL/ EX-TGL caste certificate.

Bank account – Applicant should have a personal bank account.

Academic Qualification – Students must have completed the educational level required by the specific scholarship.

Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship	Have passed the HSLC examination from SEBA or equivalent educational board recognized by Govt of exam and the HSSLC examination from AHSEC OR equivalent educational board recognized by Govt of Assam during the current year.
Financial Assistance for Higher Studies	Higher studies like MBBS, MBA Engineering, and other technical/higher education including higher studies in Administration, Medical, Engineering, Law, Research & Education within and outside the State/Country for the students
Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM/Technical Courses	ANM/GNM/ Para -Medical and other job-assured technical and professional Diploma and degree courses with a minimum 1-year duration in both government and non-government institutes.

Step 2 – Now click on “Online Application Link“.

Step 3 – Now you can see an option to “register” yourself with the Register” button. Enter your basic details and click on the register button.

Step 4 – Now log in using your credentials, After that click on the option of the scheme you want and fill in the required details.

Step 5 – This is the time to Upload all the necessary documents as specified.

Step 6 – After completing the application form Click on the “Submit” button

Print the acknowledgment copy for further use.

1. Student Original copy of Birth Certificate/HSLC Admit/HSLC Pass Certificate as age proof
2. Applicant’s Family income as per the attached format
3. The first page of the applicant’s bank passbook
4. Students Original copy of the Mark-sheet of the last examination passed
5. Original copy of caste certificate
6. Applicant Admission fee receipt of the course undergoing/Recommendation from Principal
7. Admission fee receipt of the course undergoing/Recommendation from Principal (Current Year)
